Eva Diaz formerly lived in a migrant worker camp near Davis. The Campo del Sol, no longer exists, but her small house in Slatter's Court reminds her of the house she lived in 35 years ago, as a fieldworker. Her children have all grown up, so the small, richly-decorated house suits her well. She fondly thinks of the houses in Slatter's Court "like a little city."
